How best can all involved deliver Higher Ambitions?
How do we sustain world-class university success in challenging and competitive times?
How can HE boost the economy, widen access and strengthen research?

How best can we widen participation and increase social mobility in tough economic times?
How can universities avoid being both ivory towers and degree market places?
How do we continue to deliver a liberal education and strengthen culture and the humanities?

How best can HE provide business with the vocational and life skills and continuing education?
How best can it provide the economy with new knowledge, entrepreneurship and investment?

How should we react to contemporary HE being formed, and not just consumed, by its participants?
How can universities work most closely with schools to widen access and tackle social and cultural mobility?
How can it do this in deprived and divided communities?

Where can we hope to be in 10 years?



This CPPS seminar brings together key figures from across sectors in the important debate on how to successfully deliver the new framework for higher education. How can universities best contribute to boosting economic growth and improving social mobility which strengthening research, teaching and choice.

The day encourages brief, focussed presentations followed by engaged discussion by all attending in a relaxed setting. It is hoped that it will make a valuable contribution to taking forward policy and practice on the issues.
The fee for the day's Seminar is £99.00 plus VAT.
